kw released this 2026-10-08 16:51:05 +00:00 | 0 commits to main since this release

    Nolimit Views 0.1.8

The plugin now declares compatibility with High-Performance Order Storage and the Cart and Checkout blocks, so WooCommerce no longer lists it under "Incompatible with WooCommerce features" on the Plugins screen.

    Nolimit Views 0.1.7

Fixes the plugin icon added in 0.1.6, which did not draw. WordPress loads it as an image, which is parsed as strict XML, and a note inside the file broke that. It is valid now, and a check fails the build if it ever is not.

    Nolimit Views 0.1.6

The plugin icon is a filled tile like every other Nolimit plugin. It was a
bare mark on transparency, which on Dashboard → Opdateringer — where the seven
sit in one column — was the only one that did not look like it belonged.

Documentation in docs/: what the plugin exposes, how it is built, how to set it
up and how a release is cut. The hook list is generated from the source, and a
check now fails when the document and the code drift apart in either direction.

kw released this 2026-09-25 06:52:01 +00:00 | 0 commits to main since this release

    v0.1.5 — tested against WordPress 7.1.2 and WooCommerce 11.1.2

Checked against the current releases on PHP 7.4, 8.3 and 8.4 — a real
installation each time, not a claim — and the compatibility headers now say
so. WooCommerce shows that value to you as an untested-plugin banner, so a
stale one is the thing you read before deciding whether an update is safe.

Nothing in the plugin changed. No new settings, no data migration, and
nothing about your products is touched.

v0.1.4 — the status label on the Nolimit dashboard is readable

The small status label on each plugin's card was white text on a white
overlay, which lightens a background already chosen to carry white text. On
most of the family's colours it fell below the contrast small text needs.

This is a family-wide change and every plugin takes it in the same release
round: the file behind that dashboard is shared byte-for-byte, and whichever
copy loads first is the one that counts.

Nothing else changed. No new settings, no data migration, and nothing about
    your products is touched.

v0.1.3 — the plugin has an icon

Dashboard → Updates was showing a broken-image placeholder beside Nolimit
Views instead of a mark. It has one now, in the family's style.

    your products is touched.

v0.1.2 — the product list can open on a saved view

Pick a saved view under Products → Saved views and press "Open on this".
From then on the product list opens showing that view instead of everything.

It is yours alone. Choosing a default changes nothing for anybody else, and
the list tells you which view it is showing with a link straight to the full
list — so it never becomes a mystery about where your products went. "All"
    keeps working exactly as before.

Two fixes from the first day in a real shop:

The Visibility column now sits beside Price and Stock. Next to
WooCommerce's GTIN column its header was being painted over: that column is
sized in character widths against its English label, and a longer translation
    overflows it.

And "Save this view" is a button rather than a link. It sat among four
view links, looked like a fifth, and nobody presses a view.

v0.1.1 — two fixes from the first day in a real shop

The Visibility column header is readable again. On a product list with
many columns it had no width of its own, and wp-admin breaks a squeezed word
between its letters rather than letting it overflow — so the header rendered
vertically, one letter per line, with the neighbouring column's header
overlapping it. The column now holds its width and its header stays on one
    line.

And the plugin appears in the shared Nolimit menu, beside the rest of the
family. The screen itself still lives under Products, so a shop manager can
reach it without administrator rights; the Nolimit menu now links to it.

Nothing else changed. No new settings, no data migration, and nothing about
    your products is touched.

    v0.1.0 Stable

kw released this 2026-09-21 08:01:13 +00:00 | 0 commits to main since this release

    v0.1.0 — the first release

Nolimit Views adds saved, named views to the WooCommerce product list, and
shows catalog visibility as a column and a filter — which the product list
    has never had.

A shop accumulates products that are not simply "for sale": kept back for
manual orders, meant only for trade customers, kept alive so an old order
still points at something. WooCommerce supports all of it through post
status, catalog visibility and categories, and then shows almost none of it
on the screen you actually work from. Catalog visibility decides whether a
product appears on the shop at all, and it is set behind a small "Edit" link
on the product screen — with no column, no filter and nothing in quick edit
    to tell you afterwards.

This release adds three things and invents nothing:

    • a Visibility column, next to SKU, showing which of WooCommerce's four
      states each product is in and whether it is featured;
    • a visibility and featured filter in the filter row, which combines
      correctly with the category and product type filters already there;
    • saved views: name a combination of filters and it appears in the row of
links above the list, beside All, Published and Trash. Yours by default,
or shared with everybody who can edit products.

There is also a screen under Products → Saved views that counts the
catalogue by status and by visibility, freshly every time it is opened.

No new labelling layer: every view is built from fields WordPress and
WooCommerce already fill in. It never writes to a product — it reads status,
visibility, categories and tags — and deleting it takes its saved views and
    nothing else.

No telemetry. This plugin makes no request to anybody except its own update
feed. No account, no analytics, no upsell.

Requires WooCommerce. Without it the plugin registers nothing at all.
