+# WordPress Security Manager — releases
+
+This repository holds released builds only. The source lives in a private
+repository; this one exists so a WordPress site can check for and download an
+update without needing any credentials.
+
+## Install
+
+Download `wordpress-security-manager.zip` from the latest release, then in
+wp-admin: **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**.
+
+After the first install the plugin updates itself from here — it reads the
+latest release on this repository and offers it on Dashboard → Updates like any
+other plugin.
